The particularly elegant extension behind the house completes this project and serves as a beautiful passage to the rear garden. Here the majestic and more than centennial chestnut tree is iconic and central. The garden design and the planting plan have been worked out in such a way that the whole has a natural and casual appearance. The strategic placement of a number of distinctive mature multi-branch solitary shrubs completes this picture. The ‘plunge pool’ set in this garden forms a ‘normal’ part of the terrace when not in use, while ensuring safety for the youngest residents.
